Reana, Mulcahy. And today's episode, I'm actually going to be giving you one of the most powerful tools that I teach in my program so that you can eliminate burnout behaviors in 10 minutes or less. And the reason I wanted to give this to you guys is because while building awareness of what subconscious habits and behaviors are fueling your burnout cycle, is the first step. awareness isn't enough.

And the reason awareness isn't enough is because awareness merely allows you to identify what the patterns in your triggers, thoughts and behaviors are, that you might not have realized, were repeating. But the reality is awareness alone isn't enough. I mean, if it were enough, then all we needed to do to eliminate any bad habits or patterns would be to be aware of it, right? And then poof, all of a sudden, your patterns are gone. But the reality is, how many times have you caught yourself in the same pattern, even though you knew that it wasn't serving you. And you told yourself, I can't believe I did that, again, I'm willing to bet more times than you can count on your hands. And that's because awareness is not enough. True change and elimination of the patterns requires you to use that awareness to understand what is repeating. And then it also requires you to follow it up with intentional choice, and deliberate action to practice a different way. In fact, continuing to operate from the idea that you can eliminate behaviors that don't serve you just by building awareness of them, is analogous to you trying to lose weight by only being aware of the eating habits that are causing you to gain weight in the first place. And not doing anything about it. Right.

We all know that. That doesn't work. We all know that. Just knowing about what is contributing to the problem doesn't actually solve the problem. What solves the problem is consistent intentional choices, and deliberate action in order to create habits that align with the goals. Right. And the same is true when it comes to your burnout behavior, awareness of the subconscious habit that is causing the behaviors in the first place.

That is the first step. But it's then about having intentional choice and deliberate action to change those subconscious habits. That is, what causes the true change. Right? So how do you begin making intentional choices, and taking deliberate action in order to change the subconscious habit that causes the true change? Well, to do that, I'm giving you the powerful tool that I teach all of my clients. And it is a three step tool that will help you to do that in just 10 minutes or less, it doesn't require a lot of time. It doesn't require fancy equipment, it literally just requires intentional choice and deliberate action. And so here is the three step tool.

Okay, number one is identify the trigger by finding the thoughts that precede the overwhelm the anxiety, the resistance, the uncomfortability, whatever it is that you feel in response to a situation. And you're going to write that on a piece of paper.

Okay. Number two, is to find logical evidence of why those thoughts are not absolute truth.

And you're going to write those out as well. And number three, is you're merely going to ask yourself, if you'd say those exact thoughts and words to someone that you love and respect. Now, if you implement these steps correctly, you could eliminate your burnout behaviors in as little as 10 minutes, right, with repetition of, of course.
